Checkout Al Ries, Anthony Parinello, and Seth Godin!
Learned about a great new site offering free desktop seminars feauring INCREDIBLE speakers. You’d pay thousands in attendance fees, airline tickets, and hotel accommodations to see these guys in person — but not from your computer! Great audio (high-speed access helps) with excellent slides. You can even choose to download the slide presentation!
So far I’ve only watched the Ries seminar, but it was excellent. Parinello’s session is next on my list. Both of those presentations were archived from earlier sessions, but Seth Godin’s presentation will be webcast live on Wednesday, May 21st at 12pm EST. Al Ries is the author of a virtual library of books on positioning and branding — one of my favorites is “The 22 Immutable Laws of Internet Branding.”
Anthony Parinello wrote a powerful book on selling entitled “Selling to VITO (the Very Important Top Officer).”
And (of course) Seth Godin has written at least dozen books on marketing, branding, and the internet — his latest and greatest is “Purple Cow: Transform Your Business by Being Remarkable.”
