A Vehicle For Your Ideas
What is a blog?
What is a podcast?
What is a keynote presentation?
What is a film?
What is a book?
Each of these things is a vehicle for ideas.
Many make the mistake of thinking those vehicles are the idea itself. (They’re not).
Writing a blog or starting a podcast or becoming a paid speaker are not ideas.
They can be strategies (more likely “tactics”) to help you spread the word about your ideas — but they are not THE idea. Each vehicle attracts a different type of person (or audience of people) and has a different range of message reach and audience response. Choose the vehicle that can transport your idea in the way best suited to its content and the people you wish to reach.
If your intended audience for your idea enjoy audio, are on the go a lot, and like to have content delivered to them — then a podcast could be the perfect vehicle for you to get your ideas in front of your target audience of people who can use your idea (and who also happen to enjoy on-demand audio content).
Your idea travels inside those vehicles to get your concepts and visions where you want them to go.
