Accept The Challenge
Life would be boring if everything came too easily.
It’s the challenge that keeps things interesting.
You’re presented with multiple challenges every single day.
It might be the challenge of getting right out of bed in the morning rather than smashing the snooze-button like you’re subscribing to a YouTube channel. It might be the challenge of eating a healthy breakfast rather than just grabbing a cup of coffee as you bolt out the door (late as usual because you were hitting the snooze-button again)! Your challenge might to be a little more patient with people every day, or it might be to do the dishes every night so they don’t stack up in the sink.
You have a hundred little gauntlets being thrown down in front of you as a challenge every day. They may be so small and in such quantity that you don’t treat them as such, but how you face those little challenges is how you face all the big challenges too.
The Small Challenges Prepare You For The Big Challenges
If you can’t take on the challenge to make your bed every morning, what makes you think you can handle the challenge to organize that important company event you’ve been wanting to take the lead on at work?
If you refuse the challenge to write a post on your personal blog at least once per week, why would a book publisher ever believe you could meet the challenge to write that novel you’ve been pitching?
