Apply Your Creativity
Right now it is more important than ever to maintain a forward-thinking, in-it-for-the-long-haul, positive attitude. It is also vitally important to not just think creatively, but to also actively apply your creativity to problems in an effort to find favorable solutions.
Coming up with a bright idea and not applying it to a problem in an attempt to resolve it is a lot like buying suntan lotion before going to the beach — but never rubbing it on your skin. You had the ability to avoid a problem in the palm of your hand, but made a decision to let it happen anyway.
Spend some time this week thinking about the challenges you, your family, your business, your friends, and your co-workers will be facing in the weeks and months to come.
What ideas can you come up with to mitigate some of the trials and tribulations you’ll have to deal with?
What concepts can you imagine that might ease the stress and strain of the people in your circle of friends, in your community, and in your industry?
How can you apply your creativity in order to realize some of those positive outcomes you’ve imagined?
Come up with a plan to put at least one of those ideas into action.
What are the steps required to at least test the solution on the small scale? If it works, what would the next step be to roll it out on at a larger level?
You might think you have a million dollar idea, but it ain’t worth much until you can prove its worth by putting it into action.
