Get up an hour early without losing any sleep over it
When you set your clocks back this weekend, set your alarm clock wake-up time back an hour as well.
You’ll automatically become an early riser, adding an entire hour of morning productivity to your day, and literally not lose any sleep over it because you were already waking up at that time prior to the clock being turned back.
Instead of sleeping away your extra hour (like most of America) you’ll be putting it to work for you.
Here are some ideas on how to use your extra hour:
- Write a book
- Write articles
- Make videos
- Read a business book
- Read something to improve your attitude
- Add entries to your blog
- Make art
- Go for a run
- Workout
- Take a course
- Start a podcast
What NOT to do with it:
- Don’t waste it sleeping
- Don’t wasting it watching television
- Don’t waste it reading or watching the news
- Don’t use it to check your email
- Don’t use it to aimlessly check Facebook
- Don’t use it to play Candy Crush
But don’t stop here.
Gain another hour in the Spring when the clocks move forward by leaving your wake-up time exactly where it is now.
Congratulations — you have built a new habit of early-rising without any of the pain normally associated with the effort.
