How are you at tiME Management?
Despite what all the courses and seminars and books and apps and expensive systems say — you cannot manage time.
The phrase “time marches on” has been around for a long, long time because it’s true. You can’t slow it down — even Daylight Savings Time is a wash. For every “fall back” when you get to gain an hour, there is a “spring forward” when you lose it again.
I can’t manage time, but I can manage how I spend (or invest) my time.
Therefore it’s not TIME Management — it’s ME Management.
The cliche is true… we all get the same 24-hours in a day.
What are you doing with your hours?
Are you spending your time binge watching Netflix or investing it in the projects and people that will leave a legacy and make your life happier?
Are you investing time on the things that matter?
Are you investing time with the people that matter?
When was the last time you started an interesting project?
(When was the last time you finished an interesting project??)
Starting today, stop trying to desperately manipulate minutes and hours to fit some fantasy idea of making your workdays shorter and your weekends longer and simply focus on managing what you do within those minutes and hours.
