The Cannonball Pitch
The best way to pitch an idea to others is to do a cannonball.
You see, the thing about a cannonball is that (if you do it right) you get everyone else immediately engaged and involved. They can’t help but to soak up some of your energy and inspiration, because you demonstrated your personal commitment and made it look like a lot of fun.
You can’t wade in slowly, dangle your feet, dip your toes, test the waters, or any of those other euphemisms for non-commitment (and water temperature acclimation).
You need to fully commit and jump right in.
With both feet.
So, jump off the high-dive, tuck your head into your chest, bring your knees up to your chin, and aim for the deepest part of the pool.
That’s where you’ll make the biggest splash.
