Sitting On Your Ass
I don’t know where you’re headed, but I do know you won’t get there by sitting on your ass. You only accomplish your goals by working your ass off and being mule-headed about setting priorities and staying focused.
Even Juan Valdez wasn’t sitting on his ass
I’ve seen many Juan Valdez commercials when I was growing up (and plenty of them are available on YouTube), but I can’t recall ever seeing an advertisement where the fictional spokesman for Colombian Coffee was riding his donkey.
It might have been easier and quicker for Juan to ride the donkey up the mountain to pick the coffee beans and ride back down again, but Juan knew he’d be able to harvest more product, roast more beans, and make more sales by using his four-legged friend to transport the coffee (rather than transport himself).
