The Opportunity You Have
Most people have an opportunity in mind that they keep their radar tuned for in case it presents itself. A specific set of circumstances that they are hoping to identify and act upon. To me that seems like playing the lottery; you buy a ticket and you hope a specific series of numbers will appear, and only then will you be successful.
Capitalize on the opportunity you have instead of the opportunity you want
Instead of waiting for the perfect set of circumstances to jump up and down in front of your face waving its arms in the air and shouting “pick me! pick me!” — what if you instead took advantage of the resources and assets to which you have access right now?
Do something today with what you have at-hand rather than hoping and wishing for your guaranteed-can’t-fail-dream scenario (which has less of a chance to occur than those winning lottery numbers we talked about earlier).
