Who Is Brainstorming For You?
One of the primary ways you can be of value to your clients is by being the one who brings them new ideas. You spend time brainstorming concepts for new ways they can serve their customers better through the development of new markets, new prospects, new products, new services, and new ways that you and your company can be of service to their company.
But who is brainstorming these new opportunities for you and your company?
If you’re anything like most consultants (me included!) your work gets done last because you prioritize doing client work above your own. This means that no one is coming up with better ways for you to serve your customers, no one is identifying new markets for you to conquer, new prospects for you to pursue, new products for you to launch, or new services you can develop in order to increase your value to your customers.
The value of new ideas is too high to leave it to chance that it will somehow make it to the top of your to-do list.
If you don’t have the time on your schedule to do it yourself or don’t have an internal team member you can assign the task to as a priority, perhaps you should consider engaging an outside agent to brainstorm on your behalf.
In the past I have recommended looking outside your industry for new ideas to bring to your business category. It is a natural evolution to hire someone from outside in order to help you identify new business opportunities.
Let me Beanstorm for you
One of the services I offer as Don The Idea Guy is scheduling in-person or virtual meetings over coffee where I learn a little bit about your business, your current challenges, and areas of opportunities. Then I get to work on the call (or on my own) generating ideas and action plans to help you grow your business by implementing the ideas you like best. I call these meetings Beanstorming sessions because it’s brainstorming plus coffee beans.
Visit the Beanstorming page to get details and read customer testimonials, like one from Brett who increased their new business by 40% after identifying new markets for a new service that worked in tandem with their existing services. Or read about Rebecca who needed an idea for getting her prospects to return an email and sign a new business contract — she used one of my ideas to get her client to respond to her email and sign the contract within 24-hours!
Beanstorming is fun and profitable (for you!)
